Topper Expertise Required
We have arranged a long-term loan of a Topper for James from some friends. It has been stored indoors for a good number of years (their daughter who sailed it last is in her mid-30s!).
Apparently it has been resealed and according to the owner the hull should be sound and as it has been stored in a dry garage I would imagine the sail, rudder, mast and rig will be OK - possibly a bit faded all round.
I am collecting it on Tuesday evening and will bring it down to the club next Sunday morning if possible. Would appreciate someone giving it the once over and advising on what bits are "musts" for repair/replacement. I don't want to do a complete modification of the boat (centre main or flash blocks etc) just get it fit for James to learn in.
Many thanks
Richard P.

Hi.
Great to have another addition to the topper fleet.
Theres topper training on sunday as far as i know (thats what it says in the book) so there will be plenty of people down there to offer advice.

Latest update. Have the Topper and insured it. Will bring to club this evening - Hull is a bit scratched but looks OK. She is old! Think it was aquired in the early 80s. Sail number is 17504. Will need help putting all the bits together.
