Topper Training

On behalf of the Topper Fleet I would like to say a huge thank you to Steve Venables who did some training for us today.
Six boats were set up but only four of us did the racing as Megan and Robyn were a bit light for the conditions, so helped in the rescue boat. Although we all went over more than a few times.
This week we practised starts and boat handeling. We also played follow my leader which was good!
So thank you again Steve and Greg and Allan who were rescuing us!
So if you didnt come down this week, and you've got a Topper at the club why not come down next week and see what your missing out on.

  • A observation was made about last weeks training in that nothing was laid on in the way of refreshments etc, and due to the current weather conditions there where alot of very very cold children in need of hot drinks etc, not to mention the parents who had to sit around in the cold. I am more than happy to open up the kitchen and lay some soup and rolls on etc for those participating and spectating.
