DID YOU KNOW

Today was the third saturday of our autmn sailing course (level 2) there was only 6 people on the course, but didnt they do well. The wind was gusting and streaking, did they flinch !!! not a jot. Im sure if this had been a normal sailing day,a certain amount of club members would have offered to cover the rescue duty. All these trainees have done exceptionally well, giving them a great start in sailing. Hopefully they will stay with our club, adding to the varied and colourfull range of members, stories, ideas and commitment to SUTTON SAILING CLUB. Welcome aboard, Dave Hall.

  • As one of the six on this course I'd like to say what a great time I had.All the instructors were wonderful and I'd like to thank them, especially mine, for their skill, enthusiasm, patience and endless encouragement.I'm now looking forward to practicing my new found skills. As regards to the windy weather last week, I wasn't told how bad it was until afterwards! Just as well, very exciting and loads of fun. Thanks again to all concerned.
