Sunday 18 March

BREEZE ON

The first race was started at the slightly later time of 2.50pm, after waiting for the breeze to ease.

Faz (Internationalclaimed Sound Engineer) Led the fleet at the first mark, only to sit head to wind, capsize and cause mayhem. Once lapped by Jonathon in his Laser Faz gotr going, only to get his mainsheet wrapped around the mark. Afterseveral capsizes later he managed a lap, he was even lapped by our Commodore!!

After 2 laps both Alan Williams and James Hill capsizes between Hotel and Dam, only to get stuck in the mud. Mr C and Big Dave to the rescue towing them out.

What an afternoon of entertainment!!

  • As winner of the Poseidon Trophy 2006, I would hate to disapoint my audience,
I would just like to thank the team coaches A Coleman & D Hall for there words of support & advise whilst on the water, I can honestly say I couldn't hear a word they said.
A pre thanks to my sponsors for supplying all the bits i need to fix my sons boat after I nearly sunk it today.
A big thanks to my family for there support whilst trying to win the award for 2007.
And finaly a big thankyou to you all, its just a shame a few more of you weren't there to see what a complete balls up I made in todays raceing.
Look out for more cockups to come.
    Best Regards
