Dinghy Instructor Courses

It has been mentioned on several occasions recently that we need to increase the number of Dinghy Instructors within the club. This is beneficial both to the club and to anyone who takes a course on Dinghy Instruction as the amount learned is enormous, at least it was for me.

As a consequence I have been exploring the possibility of arranging suitable courses and hopefully we will be able to set up one soon. However, in the meantime, this is an email that I have received from Freddie Thirsk, who is involved in Regional Coaching:

Hi John,

As you see from the attachment Elaine Smith is running a DI course at Staunton Harold SC from 16th to 22nd July. As the course is run during the week, the students will be predominantly teenagers, with a few adults who can find the time.

While we hope to organise a course for you, in the not too distant future, you may find it very useful to get “something in the bank”.

If you have anyone suitable, please get them to submit their application ASAP
